De Meervoudige Kamer – A labyrinth of narratives
In this performance, I explore my view of the world and its origins. From different perspectives we follow a possible reality, switching between the here and now, memory and nightmare. I challenge the spectator to continuously take place in a different position in relation to the work and actively investigate it.
For this project, I wrote my own stage text based on court research, personal experiences and drew inspiration from the absurdist stage repertoire.
The performance takes place in an unknown space, moving between a museum in Paris, the court of Amsterdam, and the living room of an average family in Hellevoetsluis.
